A Texas bus driver is adding an extra lesson in the day on the rides to and from school.

You can see why someone might hate being a school bus driver: the early hours when the weather sours and the abundance of responsibility combined with the absence of eyes in the back of your head. Nevertheless, as we first reported last May, Curtis Jenkins loves delivering these little ones to Lake Highlands elementary in Dallas, Texas. This holiday season, the school thanked him back. Last year, on the day before winter break, Richardson ISD bus driver Curtis Jenkins surprised the 70 students on his route with Christmas gifts that he bought with his own money. That act of kindness went viral. Before the start of the 2019-20 school year, an anonymous donor bought Jenkins a new SUV.
